I am originally from Louisiana but after a couple moves, I found myself calling Arizona home (weird, I know). Throughout my middle school and high school years, I found a love for sports and fitness. It wasn't until a trip to Washington D.C. with my grandma that I realized what my dream career was. I saw a reporter with a photo-op during the trip and I knew that's what I wanted to do. It was on that trip, when I was eight years old, I made my career choice.

Fast forward to high school, I grew close to sports and fitness; it was all I knew. Naturally, I wanted to keep sport in my life so I decided to pursue sports journalism.

I am currently an intern at Your Phoenix CW. My daily tasks vary but typically, I pitch ideas for the site, write articles for the website, communicate with PR outlets to work with them, and work social media for shoots with the talent.

I am now a senior at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University with a major in Sports Journalism and a minor in Personal Health. I plan to graduate in December 2019 and look for what is next for me.
